At Bubala, our values, Expression, Resilience, Integrity, and Compassion, are at the heart of everything we do. Recognised as one of CODE’s Happiest Places to Work in 2024, proudly taking the number one spot in 2025, and making the list again in 2026, we're committed to creating a workplace that prioritises balance, growth, and genuine team happiness.

About Us - Kitchen Porter

Bubala has grown to three buzzing restaurants across London, with locations in Spitalfields, Soho, and King’s Cross, and we’re not stopping there! Our fourth restaurant, Covent Garden, is opening in October this year, making it an incredibly exciting time to join our growing team.

Our menu celebrates the bold, complex flavours of the Middle East and an entirely vegetarian focus (we’re not into substitutes here!), we’re all about crafting unforgettable experiences in a fun, lively atmosphere. If you’re passionate about a plant-based ethos and love cooking over flames, Bubala is calling your name!

The Role - Kitchen Porter

As a Kitchen Porter at Bubala, you’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency in the pot wash area. You’ll ensure that all crockery, utensils, and equipment are clean and safe to use, supporting the chefs in delivering outstanding food service. You’ll also assist with food prep when needed and help maintain a safe and organised kitchen environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping things spotless!
