At Bubala, our values, Expression, Resilience, Integrity, and Compassion, are at the heart of everything we do. Recognised as one of CODE’s Happiest Places to Work in 2024, proudly taking the number one spot in 2025, and making the list again in 2026, we're committed to creating a workplace that prioritises balance, growth, and genuine team happiness.

About Us - Head Chef

Bubala has grown to three buzzing restaurants across London, with locations in Spitalfields, Soho, and King’s Cross, and we’re not stopping there! Our fourth restaurant, Covent Garden, is opening in October this year, making it an incredibly exciting time to join our growing team.

Our menu celebrates the bold, complex flavours of the Middle East and an entirely vegetarian focus (we’re not into substitutes here!), we’re all about crafting unforgettable experiences in a fun, lively atmosphere. If you’re passionate about a plant-based ethos and love cooking over flames, Bubala is calling your name!

The Role - Head Chef

We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Bubala, someone with sharp instincts, strong systems, and a deep love of flavour. You’ll set the tone, mentor your team, and drive the creative direction of our vegetarian Middle Eastern menus. This role is about high standards, not high drama, leading with clarity, calm, and a bit of fire when it counts.
